About Cook's Professional Dance Academy
Founder, President and Dance Director, Kristen comes from a long line of family dancers that started in the 1920s. Her great grandparents won various dance competitions, and her grandparents and parents were all professional ballroom dance instructors. Kristen began dancing as a child and assisted her parents in teaching classes where she developed her passion for ballroom dancing at a very young age. Formally trained with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Kristen has traveled and taught in various studios throughout the country. Cook's Professional Dance Academy was created to improve the quality of dance studios and dance instructors worldwide.
